Her Highness was appointed to the Board on 6 April 2023.

Her Highness graduated from the prestigious LA Salle School of Arts in Singapore.

Currently, Her Highness is the Chairman of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, REDtone Digital Berhad, Berjaya Assets Berhad, Berjaya Capital Berhad, Berjaya Hartanah Berhad and Bukit Kiara Resort Berhad. Her Highness has considerable experience in heading private organisations across a broad range of industries and is a Director on the board of several other private companies, including Berjaya Waterfront Sdn Bhd, Cekap Urus Sdn Bhd, Jauhari Maksima Sdn Bhd and Ibzi Holdings Sdn Bhd. Her Highness also holds the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) franchise in Stulang Laut, Johor Bahru.

YAM Tunku Aminah is also the current president of the Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club (also known as JDT), a football club based in Johor Bahru.

Datuk Wira Farhash Wafa Salvador possesses a Master of Science In Finance (Merit) from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, which was earned in 2007. He had also graduated with Honours Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the same university in 2005. On 26 May 2021, another milestone was achieved when he was awarded an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership by the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University.

Datuk Wira Farhash was appointed to the Board of Berjaya Mutual Berhad on 9 October 2023. In addition to his significant leadership role as Chairman in 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Berhad, Berjaya Construction Berhad, Apex Equity Holdings Berhad and Excel Force MSC Berhad, he also holds directorship positions in several other companies.

Datuk Wira Farhash is a distinguished figure in the world of business and leadership, renowned for his exceptional achievements and contributions to various industries. He has left an indelible mark as an entrepreneur, an inventor, and a board member in esteemed organizations. His impressive academic qualifications, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication have set him apart as an influential and impactful leader.

Mr. Arsalaan Ahmed is a recognised leader in Islamic finance, FinTech, and sustainable banking with over c.20 years of experience in banking and financial services, spanning both traditional and digital models.

He has held several key roles, including two banking CEO roles in Malaysia as well as senior management roles in the GCC, where he led organisational transformation and financial performance growth. He has also made significant contributions to the global Sukuk market, including involvement in Government of Malaysia Sukuk, Republic of Indonesia Sukuk, first public Sukuk for Makkah development, the debut UK Sovereign Sukuk, and was instrumental in issuing the world’s first UN SDG Sukuk in 2018.

His expertise extends to policy development, where he has advised governments on Islamic finance regulations and supported the growth of Islamic FinTech through angel investing. He is the first foreigner to serve as Secretary and Treasurer of the Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia and chaired a Sub-Committee of the Malaysian Financial Services Joint Committee on Climate Change (JC3), an industry initiative co-chaired by Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission.

He has received several industry recognitions, including Islamic Banker of the Year (2018) by The Asset AAA and FinTech Leader (2024) by the Global Islamic Finance Awards.

He holds a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School (HBS), achieved Chartered Banker certification from the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) and Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance certification from Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIIF). Oz also earned an MBA with Distinction from London Business School Executive programme (LBS, 2016), a MSc in Economics, Finance & Management from The University of Bristol (2003), and a BSc (Hons) in Information Management from University College London (2002). Additionally, he holds sustainability certifications from both HBS and LBS.

Mr. Arsalaan Ahmed was appointed as a Non-Independent Executive Director of Berjaya Mutual Berhad on 2 December 2024 and is also the Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Capital Berhad, the immediate holding company of Berjaya Mutual Berhad.

Encik Muhammad Lukman Bin Musa commenced his career in 1998 as an external auditor with Andersen & Co (Malaysia). In 2001, he has pursued his career in United Kingdom and his last position in United Kingdom was as the Manager in Banking & Capital Market Division at the London office of Ernst & Young LLP, United Kingdom. Upon his return in 2008, he joined Ernst & Young (Malaysia) as the Audit and Assurance Director, and was responsible in managing various Government Linked and Multinational Companies portfolio. In 2011, he left Ernst & Young (Malaysia) to hold the position as Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer of Unitar Capital Sdn. Bhd. (UNITAR), the operator of UNITAR International University, and a subsidiary of Ekuiti Nasional Berhad. In June 2016, he left UNITAR and joined MARA Corporation Sdn. Bhd., a strategic investment holding company of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. In July 2019, he left MARA Corporation Sdn. Bhd and joined ECS Solutions Sdn. Bhd., a boutique management and advisory firm, as an Advisor.

In March 2022, he has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Capital Berhad, the investment holding company of Inter Pacific Securities Sdn Bhd.

He holds a Bachelor in Accountancy Studies from University of Porstmouth, United Kingdom. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant from Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Dato’ Haji Abd Aziz, an accounting graduate from Universiti Teknologi MARA, is a leading tax specialist with over 30 years of professional experience. He is the President of the Malaysian Association of Tax Accountants, a member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia , an Islamic Financial Planner and a member of Financial Planning Association of Malaysia. He is also a member of the Board of Governors at Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Member of Customs Oversight Committee under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia and Member of Economic Advisory Council – Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia.

Dato’ Hj. Abd. Aziz started his career with an International Accounting Firm doing audits, corporate recovery assignments and taxation, including income tax of multinational companies and other local medium and large corporations. Hence he has gain extensive experience in corporate and individual tax planning, tax audits, tax investigation cases, GST/SST, tax compliance and business & financial advisory matters.

He receives regular invitations to participate in dialogues and discussions with the Ministry of Finance, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department on tax issues, as well as to propose recommendations to assist in resolving direct and indirect tax issues. Apart from that, he regularly appears on local TV networks and Radio stations, local Universities to discuss issues on the economy, direct and indirect tax matters particularly Income Tax, GST, SST and Zakat.

He co-authored the book on Zakat Management and Taxation published by the Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia. He is also the Advisor for Buku Bajet & Maklumat Cukai published annually by MATA which analyses Malaysia’s Annual Federal Government Budget tabled in Parliament. He was awarded the ‘Certificate of Merit’ from World Customs Organization for rendering exceptional and distinguished contribution to the International Customs Community.

En. Abdul Halim Bin Noordin was appointed to the Board of Berjaya Mutual Berhad on 1 June 2017. He graduated from Ohio University in the United States in 1981 with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Hons). In 1983, he obtained an MBA (Finance and Investment) from George Washington University, Washington D.C.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the fund management, unit trusts management, and stockbroking industry in companies like Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad (MIMB) and AM Investment Bank. He was managing the Malaysian Growth Fund, a USD45 million fund meant for foreign investors. He later joined Maybank Securities as General Manager, Dealing/Business Development in 1997 and 1998 was assigned to Maybank Investment Management Sdn Bhd as Chief Executive/Director until 2002.

He was appointed as Head of Investment Services at Berjaya Mutual Berhad in September 2005 and held a Fund Manager’s Representative license. In 2007, he became the Chief Executive Officer of the Company and launched the first three-unit trust funds.

He joined the International Islamic University of Malaysia (UIA) as a part-time lecturer from July 2010 till Dec 2013. Initially, he was teaching Financial Management to undergraduate students at UIA, and later he lectured graduate students in Managerial Finance and Portfolio Management.

Mr. David Lai graduated with Bachelor of Psychology and Business from Monash University Malaysia and has a total of 11 years of experience in investment research and fund management. He began his career in 2012 as an equity analyst at Inter-Pacific Research Sdn Bhd, covering various sectors and providing opinions on stock valuation and sector reviews. In 2014, he moved to Berjaya Mutual Berhad ("Berjaya Mutual"), where he managed unit trust funds and private mandates, focusing on investment strategies based on fund objectives and risk tolerance. He was a licensed fund manager’s representative during this period and was responsible for evaluating fund performance and managing associated risks.

In 2017, Mr. David Lai returned to Inter-Pacific Research to establish a mentorship program and support staff development. He received a nomination for The Edge’s Best Call Awards in 2018 and mentored a staff member who won a Best Call Award in 2017.

In June 2023, he returned to Berjaya Mutual to leverage his expertise in the capital market industry and was appointed to the Board of Berjaya Mutual on 16 June 2023. His years of experience have equipped him with the skills to assess and mitigate risks, making him valuable for risk oversight and contributing to strategic decision-making regarding risk management. He is also capable of advising the Board on regulated activities and supervising representatives in these activities.

Puan Moyra binti Ibrahim began her career in 2002 with a medium scale audit firm and later joined KPMG in the Assurance Services. She managed a variety portfolio of clients covering all size of business from large diversified conglomerate, Government Linked and Multinational Companies. She then embarked into Unit Trust Investment and Financial Planning industry; serving individual and corporate clients. In 2008 she founded a boutique Management and Advisory firm, ECS Solution Sdn Bhd providing end to end financial and business solutions covering corporate services, financial advisory, financial planning and training. As of today, ECS Solution operates from two offices – in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Terengganu.

In 2018, Puan Moyra co-founded Amanah Warisan Berhad (AWARIS); a trustee company pursuant to the Trustee Act, 1949. AWARIS offers extensive Legacy and Estate distribution solution and is currently a corporate partner to Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad and Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Berhad. In 2022 she started her Entrepreneurship Learning Program focusing on Micro Enterprises and fostered a strategic relationship with Human Resource Development Corporation (“HRDC”), Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (“AIM”) and Pusat Pungutan Zakat MAIWP (“PPZ”). Her passion in business and education has led her to be one of the strategic industrial partner with University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

In November 2022, Puan Moyra was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Seven-Eleven (Malaysia) Berhad (“7-Eleven”). She is also the Chair-Person of the Audit Committee and a member of the Risk Management and Sustainability Committee of 7-Eleven.

She earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New Castle Australia and attained her ACCA qualification from UiTM Shah Alam. She is a qualified Accountant registered with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA), a holder of Chartered Financial Planning (“CFP”) and Islamic Financial Planning (“IFP”) certification. She is also a certified HRD trainer.

Mr Syed Ali Shahul Hameed was appointed to the Board of Berjaya Mutual Berhad on 23 May 2025.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Institute of Road & Transport Technology, Bharathiar University at Coimbatore, India. He has over 28 years of experience with the Berjaya Corporation Berhad (“BCorp”) group of companies where he started his career as an Assistant Engineer at Berjaya Tioman Resort under Berjaya Land Berhad’s Group (“BLand Group”) in September 1997. His outstanding operational and strategic capabilities saw him taking on senior roles in BLand Group from 2003 until today, including the role of Chief Engineer in 2003, Corporate Director of Engineering & Technical Services of Berjaya Hotels & Resorts Division in 2009, and Director of Property Development and Complexes, Property Division in 2019, where he spearheaded landmark projects and developments including the multi-award winning Four Seasons Hotel and Hotel Residences Kyoto in Japan, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Kuala Lumpur.

He is also responsible for overseeing the overall engineering and operational aspects of BLand Group’s property development and investment in Malaysia and overseas, including spearheading the on-going luxury development of Four Seasons Resort & Private Residences, Okinawa and Four Seasons Hotel & Hotel Residences, Yokohama in Japan. His wealth of experience in technical engineering, project management, business development and strategy are instrumental in the success and growth for both domestic and overseas investments and operations under Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Berjaya Air Sdn Bhd, and Asia Jet Sdn Bhd.

Currently, he is the Group Chief Executive Officer of BLand Group and Deputy Chairman/Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of REDtone Digital Berhad.

He is a Director of Berjaya Construction Berhad, Berjaya Hartanah Berhad, Berjaya Vacation Club Berhad, Berjaya Hills Resort Berhad, Bukit Kiara Resort Berhad, Indah Corporation Berhad, KDE Recreation Berhad, Staffield Country Resort Berhad, Tioman Island Resort Berhad, Berjaya Japan Developments Berhad, Landasan Lumayan Berjaya Sdn Bhd and Berjaya Yokohama Investment Pte Ltd. He also holds directorships in several other private limited companies in the BCorp group of companies.
